Full Job Description
Days of Working: Monday to Thursday, 7.5 hours per week As Train Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards of trains, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for passengers and staff. This role plays a crucial part in the overall maintenance and appearance of trains, contributing to a positive customer experience. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain a tidy environment inside the train
- Inspect and report any damages, graffiti, or vandalism to the appropriate authorities for prompt resolution.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed, ensuring that all necessary materials are on hand to perform daily tasks.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
- Follow procedures for handling and disposing of cleaning chemicals and materials.
You must have Right to Work in the UK - Previous experience in cleaning would be advantageous.
- You will have strong communication skills.
- You will be able to work to deadlines and be flexible with working hours and days
- Willingness to work night and weekend shifts.
