Trainee Paraplanner

Eden Scott's client is seeking a highly motivated Trainee Paraplanner to join their team in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen interest in financial services who is eager to develop their skills and gain hands-on experience in paraplanning.

As a Trainee Paraplanner, you will work closely with our team of experienced financial advisers and paraplanners, providing crucial support in the preparation of financial plans, reports, and recommendations. You will play a key role in helping to research and analyse financial products, prepare suitability reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and client presentations.
• Conducting product research and providing analysis for various financial planning strategies.
• Supporting financial advisers with client management and administrative tasks.
• Preparing suitability letters and maintaining detailed client records.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.

What We're Looking For:

• A genuine interest in financial planning and a desire to pursue a career in paraplanning.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in financial services
