Position Overview:

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial team in managing costs, contracts, and financial aspects of their fit-out projects. This role is ideal for an ambitious individual eager to develop their skills and contribute to the success of high-profile commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation: Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for commercial fit-out projects.
• Tender Assistance: Support the preparation and submission of tenders, gathering data, and ensuring accurate pricing.
• Contract Management: Help with the administration of contracts, including monitoring variations and ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
• Valuations: Assist in preparing interim valuations and final accounts, working closely with the Quantity Surveyor and project team.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (or working towards completion).
• Some experience in a Quantity Surveying role or within the construction/fit-out industry is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
