Full Job Description

We are seeking a Transport Administrator for our client to support the Transport Manager and department with the efficient management of fleet operations and administrative tasks. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless day-to-day function of our client's transport and fleet systems, including handling compliance requirements and assisting with driver and customer communications., Generate purchase orders and monitor monthly expenditure.
- Maintain and submit up-to-date spreadsheets and records accurately.
- Act as a primary contact for customer queries, assisting via telephone and email.
- Support Transport Manager and Supervisor in daily workloads.
- Communicate with drivers both face-to-face and over the phone.
- Assist with driver route planning.
- Schedule vehicle servicing and MOTs as needed.
- Handle invoice-related queries with the Accounts team.
- Oversee data control and management to meet compliance and legal standards.
- Contribute to month-end and reporting duties.
- Undertake any additional tasks needed to support safe, efficient fleet operation.

Strong communication skills with internal teams, customers, and service providers.
- Proven customer service experience, maintaining solid customer relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and familiarity with SAP or similar software.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with strong administrative capabilities.
- Able to work autonomously and effectively in a team.
- Adaptable in a fast-paced environment, capable of managing change.
- High accuracy and organizational skills in data management and reporting.
