To provide technical, compliance and systems management to Transport Services, co-ordinating and monitoring the internal and external transport provision to maximise efficiency of service provision within specific standards and approved budgets, ensuring contract compliance and maintaining databases, in accordance with relevant legislation and Council's policies and plans with a commitment to achieve best value.

Relevant HNC/SVQ3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline eg Business Management and/or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through previous experience.
