Transport Planner

Brightwork are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, for a Transport Planner. This would be a full time, permanent position based out of the company’s office in the Dumfries area.

A critical role for the business, you will be tasked planning the collection and delivery of goods across the UK.

Main Responsibilities:

• Communication with drivers and customers
• Planning drivers and vehicles
• Solving any logistical issues
• Other duties deemed relevant to role

Essential Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working within a Transport Planning position for a haulage company
• Knowledge of working time directive and driver regulations.
• Customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills
