Position

An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Trauma Co-Ordinator at University Hospital Crosshouse.

What you will do:

This post is pivotal to ensure that we continue to deliver a high standard of Trauma and Orthopaedic care to our patients in Ayrshire. You will be working closely with our Consultant team to coordinator care for patients from throughout the whole of NHS Ayrshire and Arran. You will run board rounds within the 3 Trauma wards ward 2A, 2B and 5A ensure a truly coordinated MDT approach to care delivery.

You will also be involved in the delivery of a bespoke Trauma and Orthopaedics education programme for our Newly Qualified and Junior staff within the Orthopaedic wards.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

We are seeking individuals who have excellent communication and organisational skills that can excel in a highly pressured environment in order to collaborate with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, ensuring the patient journey is positive and safe and care is delivered in a manner which is both professional and person centred. Ideally, we are looking for individuals with excellent IT skills and experience in delivering education as well as being a leader within their department.
