Full Job Description

Hutcheon Mearns have been engaged by a high growth, private equity backed business to source a Treasury Analyst on a full time, staff basis. This newly created role will be based in Dyce in an excellent working environment. This presents an excellent opportunity for candidates with prior treasury experience to develop their skillset and progress in their career.

You will support the Group Treasury Manager in the management of short and medium-term liquidity of the Group, through accurate cashflow forecasting, managing Group cash through repatriations and transfers to business units and proactively managing issues which arise, in addition to utilisation of borrowing facilities, placing of deposits, and executing foreign exchange trades.

The Opportunity

  • Cashflow management at Group level, by consolidating the submissions from the divisions of 13-week forecasts
  • Work closely with regional finance teams to understand weekly / monthly funding requirements, to assist Treasury meet and anticipate ongoing intercompany lending / liquidity funding needs
  • Manage day to day cash management, by repatriating and transferring balances to ensure Group funding requirements are met and anticipated in advance
  • Support the development of Treasury operations, to deliver transactions required to meet funding of payables across multicurrency accounts
  • Preparation of cashflow presentation for monthly Board Pack
  • Utilisation of borrowing facilities, and executing trades for term deposits and FX, ensuring Group liquidity and headroom requirements are maintained
  • Support the preparation of weekly cash report, noting reasons for variances and management of cash repatriations where surplus liquidity is held
  • Facilitate the opening and closing of bank accounts
