UI / Interaction Designer (Design Systems)

M&G Wealth is looking for an Interaction designer to support its digital experience team.

Reporting to the Senior Digital Product Owner, the individual will support developing and supporting new user journeys, working with visual and creative teams to underpin user interaction together with assisting in both the development of new features, alongside enhancements to the website user experience.

As an UI/Interaction Designer (Design Systems) you will be responsible for:

• Apply design and interaction principles to create coherent, intuitive, and engaging user experiences.


• Ensure that design solutions are tailored to the needs and behaviours of our customers.


• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including content creators, engineers, and service designers, to solve complex challenges through design.


• Contribute to the design process and work closely with team members to align on project goals and deliver successful outcomes.


• Creates wireframes, storyboards, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas.


• Develops high-fidelity prototypes to illustrate design concepts and user interactions.


• Contributes to and maintains the design system, ensuring consistency across the core component library.
  
  Strong background in user and interaction design.


• In-depth knowledge of design systems, specifically with Figma.


• In-depth website design across all responsive types.


• Ability to work to a level of detail to enable engineers to develop 1^st time.


• Exhibit a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of human-centred design principles.


• Ability to support content creators in applying design principles.
