Full Job Description

  • Provide accurate valuations, supported by comparable evidence where available

  • Advise clients of an appropriate marketing strategy specific to their property

  • Explain the benefits of selling with Aberdein Considine and highlight why we are better than our competitors

  • Explain our fee structure/costs and promptly follow up with a marketing proposal including a quotation

  • Explain the selling process

  • Suggest potential improvement works which may deliver a higher return or enhance saleability

  • Following the appointment, maintain regular contact with the client to secure business

  • Establish reasons for any lost instructions

  • Maintain a current knowledge of the property market and the main competitors

    Our busy Aberdeen office are looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing individual to join their team as a Senior Valuer. The role will involve identifying and securing new valuation opportunities while successfully converting valuations to new business. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring correct pricing and maximising exposure for clients properties while providing an efficient, reliable and professional service at all times., Essential

  • Minimum 3 years estate agency valuation experience

  • Evidence of winning instructions at top end of market

  • Understands the importance of carrying out effective valuation follow up

  • Strong oral communication skills

  • Good presentation skills

  • Well presented and professional

  • A pleasant, confident manner

  • Tact, discretion and respect for confidentiality

  • Reliable and honest

  • Possess good interpersonal skills

  • Able to adapt to different professional and social environments

  • Ability to plan and prioritise own workload

  • Ability to work under pressure within a face paced environment

  • Previous estate agency experience

  • Experience of conducting valuations and building business
