Van Driver

Building Finishing Services UK Ltd are an established Repairs & Maintenance business, based in North Lanarkshire. Our business is going through a period of growth and this position will be part of our field-based operations team. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to liaise effectively, receiving work from HQ.

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Temporary Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This position is perfect for someone looking for flexible work in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a van to deliver and pick up goods as scheduled.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to various locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous driving experience preferred, especially in a delivery role.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends if necessary.
