To teach a designated subject (Music/Physical Education/Art or Modern Languages) in line with Curriculum for Excellence.

• Teach assigned classes in line with Curriculum for Excellence.
• Prepare lessons and courses.
• Undertake development of the curriculum.
• Contribute to the assessment and reporting on the work of pupils.
• Contribute to the professional development of colleagues.
• Consult with and assist colleagues on subject specific education issues.
• Participate in the organisation of the school to contribute to the school development.
• Plan and school policies as considered appropriate by the Head Teacher.
• Maintain good order and discipline among pupils and to safeguard their health and safety.
• Advise and guide pupils on issues related to their education.

Days of Work: Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday. To start asap. We are looking for a temporary visiting specialist of PE, to provide PE provision, we would be happy to consider a Primary Teacher who has an interest in PE. Your base will be Cockenzie Primary School but you would also be required to travel to St Gabriel's RC Primary School (Prestonpans). Non-negotiable class contact time as per below:- Tuesday 5hrs 25mins at Cockenzie Primary School. Wednesday 5hrs 25mins at Cockenzie Primary School. Thursday 5hrs at St Gabriel's RC Primary School.
