Full Job Description

We are a Fife wide independent charitable organisation providing free, confidential information, counselling and support to anyone affected by rape and sexual assault at some time in their lives. Further information about the work of FRASAC is available on our website frasac.org.uk A highly motivated, energetic individual, with excellent communication and inter-personal skills, is required to support the FRASAC Trauma Practitioner and Student Counsellor volunteers, whom provide direct support services to survivors of rape and sexual trauma. Relevant experience of supporting volunteers, or others, in either formal or informal settings is essential. Excellent organisational and IT skills, plus an ability to problem solve, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and delegate effectively are also required. Only women need apply under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced PVG check. Fife Rape and Sexual Assault (FRASAC) is an independent voluntary organisation offering a range of free and confidential support services to anyone, male or female, who has been raped or sexually assaulted at some point in their lives.

21 hours per week, with evening & weekend work. Tuesday and Wednesday 1100-2030; Friday 0830-1130. Time off in lieu will be granted for any overtime worked. Funding for this post ends on 31st March 2025. Continual funding will be sought but is not guaranteed.
