Full Job Description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.  

The post is full time, 37 hours worked Monday to Friday.

An opportunity has arisen within medical specialties for the North Sector for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to undertake the role of Waiting List Co-ordinator. This role is based within the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.  The post holder will provide support to the Clinical Service Manager/Lead Clinician/Waiting List Manager to effectively manage and take an active role in the continual development of inpatient and outpatient waiting list administration. 

The successful candidate should be:

  • An excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills, able to work on their own, using initiative, as well as working as part of a team.
  • Key skills include attention to detail, multi-tasking and flexibility in your approach to work.
