An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Ward Assistant to join our team in Crieff Community Hospital on ward 2.

Ward 2 is a Medicine for the Elderly ward delivering care which involves rehabilitation, ongoing in-patient care, palliative care and ongoing assessment.

The post holder will contribute to administration needs, maintaining the ward environment and care of our in- patients, providing the highest quality support to the registered nurses, doctors and healthcare support workers within the ward team.  

Working on a busy ward you will work with the team along with other service professionals, to meet the needs of patients providing safe holistic, patient centred and evidence based care.  

Applicants must have a positive attitude to change and endeavour to deliver high standards of support in helping to deliver patient care. You should have evidence of continuing development pertinent to the role although we are committed to delivering and supporting ongoing training and development. 

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are: 25 Hours over 5 days Monday Friday Negotiable
