Full Job Description
We're seeking a motivated individual to become a Warehouse Dispatch Operative, with our food production and manufacturing client in Broxburn.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Pay rate: 12.21 per hour - paid weekly
Working as a Warehouse Dispatch Operative, your duties will include, but not limited to:
- To store products, select and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring these are to specification
- Use a handheld scan device to scan products in to/out of the computerised system of business
- Safely and efficiently operate machinery (may include strapping machine, pallet wrapper)
- Extensive manual handling of product
- Secure orders for transport
- Participate in stock counts
- Ensure all relevant records and paperwork are maintained accurately
To be successful in this warehouse position you will have previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a food production/manufacturing environment. Combined with:
- Experience using dispatch paperwork
- Ability to work on your own and work well with others
- Thorough attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Good time management skills
- The ability to remain calm under pressure
