Warehouse Manager

Overview:

Our client is a highly successful and well-established distributor near Paisley. They are looking for a customer focused and energetic Warehouse Manager to manage their 30,000sq ft warehouse.

Benefits and pay range:

33,000 - £35,000 per annum. Full time, permanent position
Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm
25 days holiday (closed over Christmas and New Year) + bank holidays
Bonus dependent on profitability of the branch
Pension contribution up to 6%

Responsibilities and Duties:

Management of goods-in, sorting of stock, receipt of goods, dispatch and stock taking responsibilities, while improving operations and workflow efficiency
Plan out all warehouse resources and activities
Manage staff of 11
Develop and maintain relationships with customers
Complete work logs and efficiency reports. Prepare and analyse weekly and monthly reports on inventory & manpower
Ensure that all the Health & Safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock

Requirements and Qualifications:

3 years experience in similar role
Class 2 license required. CPC is preferable
Organised, structured and customer driven
Ability to multi-task in a fast moving environment
