We're looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our team at Wincanton based in Glasgow. You will report to the Head of Operations and manage the working relationship between Wincanton and our strategic customer within our Defence Sector to deliver an agreed annual budget including efficiency goals and objectives, coupled with outstanding customer service.,

• Lead and motivate the management team of up to 12 direct reports ensuring that they consistently achieve day-to-day excellence
• Accountable for the delivery of all contractual KPI's and budget requirements across all sites
• Prepare annual ops budget
• Drive synergies across MDC 1&2, Linwood, Scotstoun, and Govan locations
• Build strong working relationships with all key stakeholders to ensure first class operational performance which results in long term partnerships
• Deliver a culture of efficiency, Operations Excellence and Continuous Improvement by utilising the most appropriate methodology on a consistent basis
• Ensure that a best-in-class HSE performance is achieved within the sites and that a culture of safety in everything we do is embedded
• Develop and execute Customer satisfaction improvement plans
• Ensure contract change is applied in accordance with process, ensuring robust governance is applied
• Organise and lead appropriate business cadence to include regular, formal reviews and reports
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders across Procurement and Operational teams
• Serve as the lead point of contact for all operational matters, including requests and issue escalations as needed
• Develop 'internal' network (across Sectors and central functions), to leverage multifaceted solutions. Key collaboration with Account and Business Development teams
