Warehouse Operative

Pay Rate: £23,400 Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Either 15.30pm - 23.00 or 23.00 - 06.30am (Any 5 over 7 days) Location: Glasgow Train Station DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to play a vital role carrying out our daily warehouse and distribution requirements. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will: Be responsible for picking specified items from storage or warehouse. Pick products and prepare them for loading onto oncoming trains within the station. Load items of equipment onto trains, and collect items of used equipment from trains. Clean equipment collected from trains, such as trolleys and catering equipment Unboxing goods and packing away into various shelving within trains and in warehouse Using computer to book shipping of stock. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Previous Warehouse experience
• Must be able to work any 5 out of 7 days (weekend work included)
• Must be able to reliably commute to and from location of the role
• Basic IT Literacy
• Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck experience would be advantageous but not essential
