Warehouse Operative (FLT License Required)

Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for a reliable individual to join our Shotts based client, as a Warehouse Operative.

Please Note - A valid forklift license is essential for this warehouse role.

What's on offer? Weekly rotational shifts of 40 hours per week (with all breaks paid); paid at 12.20 p/h, with overtime paid up to 24.40 per hour.

• Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 06:00 to 18:00
• Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, 06:00 to 18:00 & Saturday, Sunday 06:00 to 16:00

As a Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:

• Picking and Packaging of customer orders;
• Ensuring that all items that are loaded/unloaded match the relevant paperwork;
• Reporting any damaged/missing items to Warehouse Managers/Supervisors;
• Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining warehouse equipment;
• Assisting with warehouse inventory controls;
• General warehouse and labourer duties

To be successful in this warehouse position, you will ideally have previous experience in a warehouse or other fast paced environment - plus a valid forklift license. Combined with:

• Good physical strength and fitness
• Excellent team-working skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Great organisational and record-keeping skills
• The ability to work effectively under limited supervision
