An opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Supply Chain Shift Manager, to manage our Warehouse Receipts department based at Newport IP5 Stores. The successful applicant will have previous experience working in a similar capacity, specifically Managing Staff., Overseeing inbound / outbound deliveries, return of good to supplier, receipt of goods into Aou Warehouse Management Systems, supporting the Warehouse Service Support Team to achieve optimal performance for the Department. Previous warehouse and office experience along with understanding ofHealth and Safety within the workplace is essential for this role., Able to work in a fast-paced environment, the post holder must have proven administrative and project support skills and be committed to providing a quality support service, working with a high degree of professionalism and be capable of managing a very diverse workload working to tight deadlines. The post holder must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as they will be liaising with a spectrum of stakeholders. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and / or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.,
- Diploma in Warehouse Management or Equivalent knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of Health and Safety / Safe Working Practices Desirable
- Reach Truck Qualification Experience Essential
- Previous Warehouse Experience
- Previous Supervisory / Management experience Aptitude and Abilities Essential
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office / Oracle Packages
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Excellent Organisational Skills
- Ability to manage own workload and supervise team of staff
