Full Job Description

Due to our continued success and business growth, we are looking for a Warehouse Stock Administrator to join the Wincanton team at our brand-new Scotland Gateway facility., Day to Day

  • Ensure all daily deliveries and paperwork is processed accurately

  • ensure accuracy when entering data into the computer systems

  • Liaise with warehouse personnel during the receiving process

  • To raise issues and problems with colleagues and customers via telephone and e mail

  • Maintain the returns process from yards to CW, yards to supplier and yard to yard using customer systems as required

  • Perform any put away checks required from daily deliveries

  • Assist with stock investigations from customer or supplier queries, receipt errors, etc and develop relationships with in-yard personnel, Our people are our most important asset and as such we are continuously expanding our capability programs to provide you with opportunities to build and extend your professional, functional, and management skills.     Knowledge of a warehouse management system e.g. Manhattan, WWCS, Dallas would be an advantage

  • Knowledge of stock control and stock management would be an advantage

  • Must have excellent IT skills with demonstrable experience in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Numerate and literate with good communication skills

  • Show strong team working capabilities and work effectively as part of a team but also independently and to show initiative

  • Strong focus on customer service

  • You will be reliable, self-motivated, a strong team player and will have a flexible approach to work

  • Flexibility is required to support day / back shift patterns, attending external courses and meetings if required, Disability Confident
