Warehouse Supervisor

Pay Rate: £27, 397 Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Dayshift 0630 to 1400/0800 to 1530 . Backshift 1530 to 2300 and nightshift 2300 to 0630 (Rotating, 5 days over 7) Location: Glasgow Train Station - G1 3FX DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? You will be responsible for all day to day supervision of these operatives, allocation of duties, recording of absences, disciplinaries, training and ensuring that the operation runs smoothly within the warehouse. As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will supervise our Warehouse Operatives who carry out the following duties: Picking specified items from storage or warehouse. Pick products and prepare them for loading onto oncoming trains within the station. Load items of equipment onto trains, and collect items of used equipment from trains. Clean equipment collected from trains, such as trolleys and catering equipment Unboxing goods and packing away into various shelving within trains and in warehouse Using computer to book shipping of stock. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous experience of a Supervisory or Management position in a Warehouse or Distribution Environment
• Happy to work a 3 shift system on a 5 over 7 day basis, which involves working weekends
