An opportunity has arisen within Environment & Place, Waste Services for a Waste & Resource Officer to join our Recycling team at Lower Polmaise Waste Management Facility.

The Waste & Resource Officer role will involve providing assistance to the Team Leader and Service Manager on projects, internal & external communications, and any other related work to enable delivery of current and new recycling services.

Essential Criteria:

  • Education to HND / SVQ level or with equivalent experience
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable Criteria:

  • Direct experience of implementing waste education and awareness projects within a local authority setting
  • Geographical knowledge of the Stirling Council area
