Dakota Hotel based in South Queensferry are seeking a morning person with an outgoing personality for the role of Weekend Breakfast to work our Bre akfast service.,
- Greet all guests as they come into the Grill, offering and serving tea, coffee and toast before taking their bre akfast order.
- Carry out the role of a section waiter / waitress , providing table service, taking guest orders and running large trays of delicious food to guest tables.
- Provide the highest levels of guest service, offering personalised dish and beverage recommendations, and delivering a memorable dining experience.
- Work closely with the Bar and Kitchen team to ensure the effective flow of communication.
- Maintain a comprehensive level of knowledge of our current bre akfast menu to be able to offer guests recommendations, including understanding the allergens presence in dishes.
At least 1 year working experience, ideally in a hospitality environment. - Having previous waiting or coffee shop experience is strongly preferred.
- A sociable person who enjoys early morning starts.
- Ability to make coffees such as lattes and cappuccinos is favourable.
- Be an outgoing personality with effective communication skills .
- Ability to work at pace and be physically active for the duration of your shift.

Working part-time, predominantly on Saturday and Sunday mornings, this role is ideal for students and those with weekday commitments. This is a fixed term festive role concluding on 5th January 2025. CONTRACT AND PAY RATE Earnings are up to £13.54 per hour and is paid weekly (inclusive of the anticipated tronc payment). The role carries a fixed-term contract of a minimum of 10 hours per week and typical shifts will be working Saturday and Sundays.
