Welder

Connect Appointments is partnering with a leading company in East Kilbride that specialises in signage solutions! They are seeking a skilled Welder to join their growing team.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:20am to 4:20pm (with an early finish on Friday)

Pay rates: 17 to 18 per hour

Responsibilities as a Welder include:

• Perform general welding duties in all required areas
• Ensure welding is carried out to set standards
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Maintain a tidy and safe working environment

To be successful in this Welder role, you will possess the following skills, traits and experience:

• Previous experience with TIG/MIG welding and aluminium (essential)
• Ability to interpret design drawings and specifications (essential)
• Previous experience with laser welding (preferred, but not essential)
• Excellent attention to detail and quality of work
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
