Connect Appointments have an immediate start available for a Welder to work in Blackford, Perthshire!

Our client is working on site with a major player in the drinks industry, carrying out an installation of an FMCG line that requires a Welder skilled in both thin-walled stainless steel and carbon steel welding.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4 to 6 weeks of work

Pay rate: 23 per hour CIS, 28 per hour OT

The successful Welder will be responsible for:

• Studying and working from drawings/project specifications
• Calculating dimensions of parts to be welded
• Inspect and finish any welded surfaces

The ideal Welder will have:

• The ability to start immediately
• Previous experience working within thin-walled stainless pipework (preferred, but not essential)
• Excellent attention to detail
