Full Job Description
- Supervise well intervention operations across all TotalEnergies assets, ensuring strict adherence to UK Oil & Gas regulations and TotalEnergies E&P UK Company policies and guidelines. Duties will be performed in a rotating 3x3 shift format and will require candidate to be flexible (dayshift/nightshift).
- Collaborate with various disciplines, including Drilling, Production, Field Operations, and Construction, to optimise operational, safety, and commercial performance.
- Oversee all aspects of well intervention activities on site, including supervision, operational decision-making, communication, planning/logistics, collaboration, cost management, and safety. - Lead the team and provide technical input and solutions to all well intervention activities under their supervision.
- Deliver well interventions on time, within budget, capturing improvements while meeting objectives and expectations.

- Commitment to HSE Policy: Demonstrates personal dedication to TotalEnergies' Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Policy, providing technical well support within the emergency response team.
- Safety Promotion: Actively promotes and ensures the utilisation company safety management tools during intervention activities.
- Work Control: Ensures interventions are carried out according to the programme of work under a Permit to Work (PTW), capturing all associated risks, including emergency preparedness. Conducts emergency drills with the offshore team.
- Safety Reporting: Ensures continuous reporting of safety and environmental concerns/incidents within the team and communicates safety alerts.
- Offshore Focal Point: Serves as the offshore focal point for safety, technical, and operational aspects of well intervention operations across all TEPUK assets, covering a wide range of interventions such as pumping, stimulation, coiled tubing, slickline, wireline, well maintenance, well integrity, e-line, and completions. Provides financial oversight and accountability for equipment, personnel, and processes during job execution.
- Performance Improvement: Drives a culture of continuous performance improvement within the offshore team and communicates effectively with the onshore team.
- Lessons Learned: Captures and communicates lessons learned with onshore teams, service companies, and other stakeholders. Benchmarks operations against best composite performance, and updates well status in UWIMS.
- Well Integrity: Involved in identifying and resolving well integrity issues. Acts on well abnormalities under the instruction of the Well Intervention Superintendent/integrity department.
- Operational Reporting: Ensures thorough and factual operational reporting and EOIR (End of Intervention Report) using the WELLVIEW reporting system.
- Operational Planning: Ensures streamlined operational and logistic planning by creating and distributing structured planning documents to all stakeholders. Organizes equipment and personnel movements in line with the operational plan.
- Onshore Roles: Performs onshore roles when required, including preparing and reviewing intervention and completion programmes of work, acting as Intervention Superintendent, writing operational/technical reports, vetting/overseeing onshore equipment testing, participating in HAZID/HAZOP and onshore risk assessments, participating in contractor site/process technical and safety audits, and preparing bridging documents. Leadership and Mentorship: Chairs all pre-job meetings, leads Toolbox Talks (TBTs), mentors junior team members, and provides coaching.
- The ideal candidate should possess relevant industry training and demonstrate substantial experience and technical expertise in well intervention activities.
- They must have prior offshore experience, with a proven track record in managing diverse teams, logistics, and overseeing all safety, health, and environmental aspects of offshore operations.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is essential.
