Wind Turbine Technician - Inverness area

The Farms are in the north of Scotland Corriemoillie and Dunmaglass. Each site is roughly 45 minutes from

• Previous maintenance experience on Wind Turbines and able to lead a team on service campaigns throughout the UK and further when necessary
• Ability to work independently on the implementation of fault analyses and repair of wind turbine generator systems in the UK, including clarification of any client queries
• Ability to work away from home when business dictates
• Documentation of call-out responses, fault finding and repair work in service reports, logbooks andchecklists
• Coordination of external and internal service providers and contractors on site
• Contact person for client technical queries, such as retrofits and repairs
• Willing to work and fulfill on-call obligations for out of normal working hours if required. (e.g. weekend working), Professional training in electrical engineering sector (electrician, power electronics system, mechatronic engineer) orthe equivalent knowledge/experience
• Familiar with MS-Office operating system
• Familiar with PLCs
• High degree of quality awareness; excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills combined with the ability to detect and remedy faults, defects, problems
• Team player, cooperative, interested in further personal and career development
• Confident personality
• Able to work at heights
• Structured worker with technical analytical abilities
• High degree of flexibility, highly motivated with the ability to work under pressure
• Prepared to travel throughout the UK, Previous experience working on GE/ Alstom ECO Turbines
• Electrical/ mechanical service or maintenance experience will be the additional advantage
