Full Job Description

As a Wireline Field Engineer, you will provide technical support to the delivery of multiple customer projects. You will play a role in delivering technical solutions and providing operational excellence to our customers. As a Field Wireline Engineer, you will also be responsible for:

  • Being hands on, rigging up, testing downhole tools at the wellsite
  • Coordinating with crew members to deploy tools and services
  • Liaising with customers and shore-based Operation Managers
  • Acquiring downhole data, preparing logs and reports, documenting, receiving and testing equipment and products.
  • Advising Customer Representatives during logging operations; interpreting logging data, troubleshooting and wellsite analysis.

    Be educated to HND/Degree level or equivalent in a relevant engineering related subject
  • Have some understanding and competency in oilfield wireline operations and services
  • Be a good communicator and fluent in English
  • Have good knowledge of QHSE practices and an outstanding QHSE attitude
  • Be a key team player, who also can work independently.
  • Have a structured, analytical and creative approach
  • Be flexible and positive with a growth mindset
