Full Job Description

Stirling Council, Housing Services, are looking to recruit a Work Planner. The position is within the Capital and Technical Team who plan and oversee our investment and maintenance programmes for over 6,000 properties throughout the Stirling Council area. The successful applicant will take a proactive role in supporting the Capital and Technical Team in meeting its legal obligations in terms of gas and electrical safety. They will also assist the team to ensure our capital investment targets are achieved.

The successful candidate must have experience in planning and programming work and be able to work to tight deadlines with competing priorities. A knowledge of construction methods and terminology would be desirable. The post holder will have excellent customer care, communication and IT skills and have experience of Microsoft packages and database software packages. A driving licence is desirable. The successful candidate will be required to complete an Basic Disclosure Scotland Check.
