Full Job Description

NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37-hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.     NHS Tayside is seeking a skilled Workforce Systems Administrator to join our team. If you have strong IT skills and thrive in a collaborative environment, this could be the perfect role for you. You will be working alongside another Workforce Systems Administrator, as well as a team of 3 Systems Information & Planning Officers and 2 Senior Systems Information & Planning Officers, playing a vital role in the rollout and support of the eRostering system across NHS Tayside.,
  • Strong IT skills are essential, ideally with experience in systems administration.

  • Ability to manage your workload effectively, delivering work to a high standard and within tight deadlines.

  • Experience with Allocate Optima is desirable, but comprehensive training and support will be provided.

  • A team player who is keen to contribute to the ongoing development of NHS Tayside's workforce systems.
