Full Job Description

Our Yard Operatives ensure the smooth running of the yard. Responsibilities include ;

- To provide traffic management operatives clean cones filled sand bags and signage fit for purpose.

- To ensure that the correct quantity of traffic signals are ready and fueled prior to collection by traffic management crews.

- Fabrication of special signage as required for specific works.

- To ensure all signs and cones are visually checked for damages on return from site and damages logged.

- To ensure all batteries are secured, accounted for & charging in accordance with company procedure

- To ensure all cones are clean by checking and washing them, re-sleeving/ re basing them and ensuring all cones are security marked etc.

- To ensure all yard equipment is put back in their correct locations i.e. Pedestrian barrier, Signs, Cones, Sandbags .etc.

- Various Yard duties as instructed by the Yard Supervisor

- You are required to follow any company procedures regarding quality, health and safety and environmental issues.

Physically fit

- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test

- Full UK driving licence with less than 6 points - manual licence only

- Right to work in the UK unsponsored

- Positive "can-do" attitude

Salary:£11.44 ph or depending on experience.

Guaranteed hours of work are 40 hours per week. Working hours are variable Monday to Friday. Occasion weekend work may also be required.
