Yard Supervisor

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.,

• Line management responsibilities for a team of people.


• Ensure car movements on and off site are completed to site requirements.


• Maintaining a tidy and professional working environment, with emphasis on health and safety in the workplace.


• Organise vehicles on site with best utilisation of space.


• Assisting team members to ensure SLAs and KPIs are met.


• Ensure all deliveries and collections are properly received and dispatched.


• Ability to work to tight deadlines and plan workloads in a fast-paced environment.


• Work with drivers to ensure their timelines are met.


• Work closely with site management team to effectively build and execute a production plan.


• Assist hands on when required with departments daily duties.
  
  Minimum 2 years' experience in a management role in a similar environment.


• Previous experience working with third parties/ suppliers.


• Experience liaising with customers directly.


• Proficient in all Microsoft platforms and writing/ using reports.


• Understand business requirements for all your clients.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


• Good communication skills.
