Full Job Description

  • Assisting with looking after a stable of up to 30 horses and supervising students carrying out their duties

  • Maintaining the standards expected by the Stable Manager, the Organisation and any regulatory or welfare obligations expected by the governing organisations

  • The post-holder will perform additional duties as directed from time to time by the Stable Manager

  • The post holder will mainly work weekends and may be required to cover extra shifts as and when required with prior notice given

  • The post holder must always be able to multi-task and use their initiative in the conduct of their work. They must be able to apply sound judgement to ensure that they conduct themselves within the framework of SRUC regulations and procedures.

    The ideal candidate will have a British Horse Society qualification or equivalent training., Disability Confident
