Full Job Description
The Young Carers & Young Adult Carers Project aims to provide information, advice and support to children and young people 7 - 25 years who have caring responsibilities within their family, due to illness, disability or substance misuse.
We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our expanding Carer support service within the Young Carers & Young Adult Carers Project
Have you got what it takes to provide support to children and young people who have caring responsibilities?
We are looking for two members of staff to join us as
· A sound knowledge of working with children and young people.
· An understanding of the role that a Young Carer and Young Adult Carers have and how this can impact their life.
· The skills for a demanding, yet very rewarding job delivering one to one support.
· The skills to help deliver group sessions.
· The flexibility to work after school hours into the early evening, occasional weekend work and residentials.
