The Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) in Electrical Installation at SCQF level 7. This qualification covers areas such as installing enclosures for electrical cables, conductors and wiring systems, commissioning electrical systems and equipment, identifying and rectifying faults in electrical systems and equipment. Your Key Responsibilities & Accountability on completion of apprenticeship include:

• LV electrical installations
• LV maintenance
• Inspection and Testing
• Facilities maintenance
• Electrical support to the marine industry
  
  This qualification has been designed in partnership with SJIB to ensure relevance to the sector.
The Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) in Electrical Installation at SCQF level 7. The following qualifications are attained through this apprenticeship:
• Technical Certificate C&G 2339-17 in Electrical Power Engineering Level 2
• SHEA Power (EUSR)
• BESC Basic Electrical Safety Competence (EUSkills)
• Power Network Craftsperson Level 3
Apprenticeship candidates will have attained qualifications (National 5 or equivalent) to include as a minimum Mathematics, English, and a Science.
