Full Job Description

Join the Braemar Finance team where you will provide an efficient and effective service to our customers and sales teams, understanding their needs and working to exceed those wherever possible. The day to day includes processing documentation for new transactions, facilitating pay-outs and managing the 'in-life' journey of our customers. Our ideal team member doesn't necessarily need prior experience, however previous experience in customer services and/or new business administration would be beneficial. Most importantly, you'll have strong communication skills and will be an excellent team player. You'll be an effective problem solver and can use initiative. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with Sales and our customers to ensure a smooth the onboarding and agreement set up processes while focussing on getting things done right first time.
  • Ensuring all relevant internal checks and reviews (anti-money laundering, credit, asset valuations etc.) are completed accurately and inline with company procedures
  • Check and collate documentation and associated paperwork in a timely manner ensuring that we are in full compliance with current legislation and credit approvals.
  • Accurately upload all financial agreements to the platforms (using Salesforce & Alfa)
  • Preparing accurate payments to suppliers, brokers and customers
  • Issue welcome packs to all new customers within agreed timescales and include all relevant documentation
  • Process all deposits and initial payments on ALFA system
  • Support the Sales team by speaking to Customers and internal stakeholders to progress with new business transaction
  • Receive and respond to enquiries by email or telephone, addressing these effectively and in a timely manner
  • Address customer complaints in accordance to policy
  • Understand the main risks arising in your area of responsibility, how to mitigate them and escalate where you are unable to comply and to meet all data requirements

    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and are able to effectively communicate with both customers and colleagues at all levels
  • A strong attention to detail
  • An excellent team player, able to work as part of a large team as well as independently at times.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships both internally and externally.
  • Strong initiative with excellent problem solving skills
  • IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:
  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft products
  • Have previous knowledge and experience of financial services industries or in a similar operational customer facing role.
  • Have previous knowledge or experience in Asset Finance industry
