Full Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Process Excellence Sr. Manager to join our team. This role is crucial for crafting an inclusive EMEA framework, defining common terms, and promoting sales excellence regionally. This role plays a crucial part in sharing standard methodologies across EMEA markets and implementing Sales Process Excellence for Dexcom. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales leadership, commercial strategy and execution, go-to-market design, omnichannel implementation, and effective communication in EMEA. Where You Come In:
- Framework/Initiatives Design: Develop and implement an EMEA-wide framework and playbook for sales excellence and omnichannel operations. This includes go-to-market models, segmentation, prioritisation, territory optimisation, targeting, regional sales reviews, sales proficiency development, and Omni-channel orchestration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business review and planning templates in all countries, aligning with local and global requirements, crafting aligned performance objectives, and including them in reports and expectations. Set schedules for reviews and monitoring.
- Collaboration: Partner with country Commercial Excellence Managers and commercial leaders to craft and implement the EMEA framework. Work closely with global commercial excellence, marketing, market access, HR, and sales training teams.
- Improve sales strategies by collaborating with experts and conducting workshops to keep Dexcom's processes up-to-date.
- Project Management: Drive the implementation of Global/EMEA sales excellence initiatives through effective project management, engaging country commercial leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Sales Proficiency Development: Collaborate with sales training and HR to craft and implement programs that improve sales team skills and performance.
- Performance Management: Establish and manage sales performance metrics and review processes to ensure alignment with business objectives, working closely with various Commercial Excellence functions.
- Communication: Help team members work together and communicate well with collaborators, customers, and partners to stay on the same page and achieve sales strategy goals.
- Change Agent: Foster collaboration and a growth mindset across the Global/EMEA commercial organization. Promote standard process sharing and build champions across EMEA.
Sr Manager - Sales Process Excellence - EMEA - Healthcare. This role can be based in Spain (Madrid or Barcelona) or the UK (Edinburgh or Camberley). You will be required to be in the office twice a week. You must have the right to work in the UK., Outstanding track record in sales leadership - Additional experience in Medtech and/or Pharma relating to go-to-market design & Omni-channel transformation
- Strong communication abilities to address the requirements of customers, pinpoint ideal solutions crafted with long-term vision, establish alignment, and steer workstream execution
- Showing consistency between words and actions and delivering on promises to others
- Encouraging and actively removing barriers to enable creativity and innovation
- Proven professional experience in a dispersed matrix team environment, while balancing Global, Market, and Country needs
- Ability to handle challenging tasks that involve multiple collaborators and conflicting deadlines
- Considering how others may respond to situations and planning the approach to achieve the best outcomes
- Strong skills with Microsoft platforms (particularly building engaging and focused PowerPoint presentations), sales CRM's, analytic platforms, RevAI platforms, and other sales tools and technology
- Able to work flexible hours to manage workstreams that include contributors from many time-zones Core Skills:
- Thought Leadership: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Great Teammate: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple collaborators
- Coordinate project timeline, update collaborators on strategy, adjustments, and progress regularly. Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in Omni-channel program implementation & management
- Familiarity with EMEA market dynamics and regulatory environments
- Proficiency in CRM and sales performance management tools (SFDC, Veeva, RevAI platforms, BI), Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business or a related field
- MBA or related advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in commercial strategy and execution, with a focus on sales, sales leadership, sales excellence, and go-to-market design
- Consulting experience preferred: Proven experience in a consulting role, preferably within the Medtech or healthcare industry
- Proven track record to solve problems creatively
- Proven leadership abilities and strong executive presence
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline, Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 13+ years of industry experience
- 5-8 years of previous people management experience Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs.
