Full Job Description
We need Support Workers that are available to work every other weekend and must be a car driver, with a valid UK Driving Licence, due to the support locations., Meaningful work - you will literally change people's lives for the better every day, improving your community and providing you with a feeling of fulfilment. As a Support worker you will help people with disabilities or additional needs to live the life they choose, supporting with daily living skills, attending appointments, finding work and much more.
You don't need previous experience or qualifications, just to care about people and to want to make a difference. You will build meaningful and lasting relationships with the people you support. You won't have to do short visits, as our sessions are always a minimum of 1 hour, with many being longer than this to make sure both you and our customers are fulfilled every day.
Flexibility - with hours that work for you; full time, part time and casual hours can be offered, respecting any commitments you have
Guaranteed income and job security - hourly rates start at £12.27 with enhanced rates for evenings and weekends, plus paid mileage and lots of great benefits. Our charity is over 30 years old, and provides you a secure role with scope to develop
