This role involves ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the warehouse operation so that the region runs efficiently. Other key areas of responsibilities include:

• Managing the warehouse team and be responsible for their performance
• Training, developing and motivating your team
• Be responsible for ensuring all goods are received into the warehouse
• Control stock leaving the warehouse
• Loading and unloading merchandise
• Be responsible for checking goods are correct against delivery notes and purchase orders
• Be responsible for ensuring all relevant paperwork is in order
• Be responsibile for labelling all goods and once booked in and ensure all goods are stored in the current location
• Ensure all goods are booked in on computer system within 24 hours of receipt into the warehouse
• Organise/rotate and order bulk stock items
• Oversee the selling off of end line or discontinued products from 'in house shop sales'
• Minimise unallocated stock
• Be responsible for ensuring fork lift trucks are used as per the risk assessment (where applicable)
• Ensure security of warehouse is maintained at all times
• Ensure customer satisfaction and deal with any issues raised
• Manage the control of waste including minimizing waste product
• Manage subcontractors when collecting goods
• Assist with deliveries
  
  Previous experience in a supervisory role?
The ability to work on your own initiative? Excellent communication and organisation skills?,
• Must have previous warehouse experience
• FLT licence is essential
• Be a strong team player
