Job Description
Social Worker REF: HSCP/ 83231
Salary: Grade 8 £42,924 - £45,451
Location: The James Watt Building, 105 Dalrymple Street, Greenock
Hours: 37 Hours Per Week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Worker to join our Family Based Care Team.
The Family Based Care Team has a key role in ensuring that Inverclyde has high quality, well supported, trauma informed family based care options for all children who cannot safely remain in their home. As a Social Worker within the team you will be responsible for undertaking the highest standards of assessment and support to kinship, fostering and adoptive families.
You will also be involved in the key tasks relating to the recruitment of new foster carers and prospective adoptive carers.
You will find that Inverclyde is a great place to work. We’re small enough that you can make things happen quickly, and you will have plenty of opportunity to extend and diversify your experience.
If this sounds like where you’re meant to be, we would love to hear from you. For an informal discussion about these exciting opportunities and to learn more about our ambition for the future, contact Emma Bilsland, Service Manager on 01475 715365 or
emma.bilsland@inverclyde.gov.uk.
