Bookkeeper 
Lanarkshire | Full-Time | Permanent

The task at hand:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Xero and Sage
• Control Account reconciliations
• Sales and Purchase Ledger maintenance
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Take accounting records from base records to trial balance stage
• Preparation of Management Accounts
• Assist with preparation of payroll for selected clients
• Assist with year-end accounts work

The Ideal Candidate:

✓ Knowledge of accounting software (Xero & SAGE)
✓ Experience in a similar bookkeeping role, within a practice environment
✓ Experience with end-to-end payroll (not essential)
✓ The ability to work both independently and part of a team
