Full Job Description
Eden Scott is delighted to be supporting our client with a global footprint to recruit for a newly created role of Financial Accountant. You will be based at their offices in Dyce with hybrid working on offer on a 3/2 basis.
The Financial Accountant will play a vital role in ensuring compliance and providing finance support across various accounting functions.
Main Duties:
Reconcile the balance sheet control accounts on a monthly basis including calculation of accruals and pre- payments
Process cashbook transactions and reconciliation and revaluation of bank accounts
Review P&L accounts to ensure appropriate coding of sales and supplier invoices
Assist with the preparation of monthly management reporting
Assist with Group audit preparation and responding to audit queries
Assist with other finance responsibilities as they arise and skill set accommodates - primarily in assisting the Financial Controller with ad hoc reporting requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in an accounting practice or similar industry role including preparation of management accounts (3 years+)
Professional qualification or part qualification in accounting preferred, although QBE candidates will be considered where excellent skillset can be demonstrated
Proven experience in managing time effectively and under little direction
Oil and Gas experience preferred
