Full Job Description
Are you a qualified accountant, looking for that next progressive career move?
By nature you will display obvious internal drive and self-motivation, with a mindset to develop innovative solutions, and positively challenge the status quo. First class analytical and numerical abilities are required, with advanced Excel capabilities and experience of building financial models/business plans to be successful in this senior finance role.
Our client, who are leaders in their niche field, working across diverse sectors which include oil and gas, construction, utilities, and transportation, are recognised for their industry expertise.
They are at a pivotal stage of their trajectory, having recently secured investor funding, and so a fantastic opportunity to drive forward and support their growth plans.
This role will lead the financial planning and accounting of the business and as such be a key player in ensuring financial health, optimising cash flow, and working closely with leadership.
In this varied, hands on role, you will be responsible for:
- Financial Reporting
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Financial Analysis
- Internal Controls
- Cash Management
- Financial Planning
- Risk Management
- Compliance and Regulations
You will ideally be a Qualified accountant with a min of 5 years of post qualification experience within financial management and in financial system implementation and improvement. Hold excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to handle large amounts of information and detail in an organised, efficient manner.
