Oliver Smith Recruitment are working exclusively with our client in Glasgow to recruit a highly skilled, motivated, and detail-driven Management Accountant to join our clients expanding team.
This role is the perfect opportunity to join a small close-knit team where you will find yourself gaining further exposure and personal development.
As the company continues to grow through organic expansion and strategic acquisitions, this is an exciting opportunity to join and play a key role in shaping its future success.
Duties:
- Preparing and analysing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
- Supporting the preparation of annual financial statements and liaising with external auditors.
- Providing financial insights that drive smart business decisions and growth.
- Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Strengthening financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Assisting in high-impact projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and process improvements.
- Mentoring junior finance team members and fostering a culture of continuous development.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance and achieve strategic goals.
