We are currently recruiting a highly skilled Credit Controller to join a dynamic finance team for our client based in North Lanarkshire.

As a Credit Controller you will report to the Group Financial Controller and Credit Control Team leader, working in a fast paced team environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

Chasing customer debt daily
Dealing with invoice queries (both internal and external)
Allocating cash receipts onto Sales Ledger
Regular team meetings with internal Department Mangers
Attending regular Credit Control meetings
Opening new customer accounts
Reconciling customer deposits and arranging deposit refunds

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Credit Controller
Strong sales, and cash allocation experience
Good communication skills required in dealing with internal and external clients
Good computer skills (experience with Sage 200 desirable)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work to deadlines

Offering

Salary £28k – £30k DOE
Hours Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
Holidays 30 days including statutory holidays
