Full Job Description
We are currently recruiting a highly skilled Credit Controller to join a dynamic finance team for our client based in North Lanarkshire.
As a Credit Controller you will report to the Group Financial Controller and Credit Control Team leader, working in a fast paced team environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Credit Control: Chasing customer debt daily
- Query Resolution: Dealing with invoice queries (both internal and external)
- Cash Allocation: Allocating cash receipts onto Sales Ledger
- Departmental Liaison: Regular team meetings with internal Department Mangers, and Credit Control team.
- Account Management: Opening new customer accounts
- Reconciliations: Reconciling customer deposits and arranging deposit refunds
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller
- Strong sales, and cash allocation experience
- Good communication skills required in dealing with internal and external clients
- Good computer skills (experience with Sage 200 desirable)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines
Offering
- Salary £28k – £30k DOE
- Hours Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
- Holidays 30 days incl statutory holidays
- Pension
