Mac Recruit Group is excited to partner with a well-established organisation based in Midlothian to find a dedicated Finance Assistant for an ongoing contract basis.

General Duties:

Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
Process a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency
Perform bank reconciliations and monthly financial reporting
Assist with month-end closing activities
Address and resolve invoice discrepancies
Mailbox management
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely payment processing

To be considered for the role you will ideally have:

Previous experience in a similar role.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

On Offer: The organisation offers a competitive hourly rate between £16 – £17 per hour, based on experience, flexible working hours, hybrid working, onsite parking and the potential for the role to be extended.
