Full Job Description

The Finance Department provides financial reporting for the firm, including the preparation of partnership and statutory accounts, along with regulatory financial and capital reporting and appropriate tax filings. We manage payments on behalf of the business, payroll, pensions and process staff expenses. We provide full Board support on all finance matters including support to business development initiatives as well as financial modelling to support decision making., To support the Head of Finance Operations by running smooth and efficient treasury operations and expenditure processes.,

  • Be a part of the team responsible for treasury operations processes including payments, reconciliations and income receipting.
  • Work closely with the Treasury Management Lead to ensure appropriate treasury matters including policies and systems are considered.
  • Be a part of the team responsible for the processes executed through any associated Purchase to Pay (P2P) and business expenses system under the direction of the Expenditure Team Lead or Head of Finance Operations. For P2P this may include: purchase requisitions and orders, receipting, invoice processing and accounts payable. For business expenses this may cover the management of the expense claim process in line with the firm's Travel and Business Expenses policy, the ownership of corporate credit card processes and the reimbursement of employees where due.
  • Assist with support and direction to staff involved in treasury operations and expenditure processes to ensure accurate and timely data capture of transactions as configured by key stakeholders (including downstream Finance teams) to ensure compliance with internal and external financial reporting and tax requirements and any related payments are met within obligation.
  • Help support a robust control framework utilising automated processes and technology-based solutions as much as possible.
  • Provide a high-level of customer service to employees through the relevant processes including developing and encouraging any cross-functional activities that would lead to improved levels of service.
  • Ensure stakeholders queries are attended to and resolved in a timely, responsible, and proactive manner.
  • Help create best-in-class Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to promote operational efficiency and resiliency.
  • Review backlog and cycle time reports and suggest ways to improve process flow times.

    Proven record of delivery and the ability to produce high-quality work within deadlines.
